The Australian Institute of Management of NSW and ACT, (AIM NSW & ACT) has over 10,000 members who use the website as a rich source of information. This website, due to its size and quantity of information, was becoming out of date and difficult to manage and navigate. AIM NSW & ACT needed a new website which would be easy to access, maintain and navigate by its users & staff.
AIM NSW & ACT selected Gruden for the complete website redesign & build, including the architecture, structure and cosmetic design of their website. They also requested integration with a Content Management System (CMS) with the provision of a built in search engine capability. To address short and long terms goals, Shado MX was the chosen CMS and framework for this project.
Gruden worked with AIM NSW & ACT to create a new design concept which better presented their core brand values online, as these had begun to be diluted over a period of time. Using Flash and dynamic HTML, Gruden completely changed the design of the website to better direct its visitors & members through the site and showcase the key areas of interest & events.
New promotional space on the main page gives the opportunity to rotate promotions providing exposure to upcoming events and courses via the CMS. The Shado MX Content Management System now gives AIM NSW & ACT the power and flexibility to manage their own updates within a framework that will support them through many iterations of the website to come.
Following the successful delivery of the Internet site, Gruden have gone on to develop their intranet site and provide tighter integration with their internal CRM software. Using the same CMS for the Intranet (Shado MX), has also helped to keep costs within a reasonable budget as the Intranet is managed using the same license as the website - as well as maintaining a consistent user experience across both sites.
